What are the biggest opportunities for change in education?:

Incorporating the voice of the student and teacher into all areas of education, from resources used and pedagogy in the classroom to policy making.

What does collaboration mean to you?:

Collaboration is a generative space where each person's offerings are acknowledged and built upon to move an idea forward.

What's your most memorable ISKME moment?:

Witnessing the unwavering dedication of Detroit teachers during the 2010 Summer OER Professional Development Academy. I was so impressed by the commitment these teachers have to their students, despite the many challenges they face. I was extremely inspired by the overwhelming gratitude they had for the work we do and look forward to returning this summer.
