The event allows European Schoolnet (EUN) partners, stakeholders and networks to meet, make new contacts and discuss common ICT initiatives that foster the development of education in Europe and beyond. This year Conference’s theme is ‘Political priorities and evidence-based practice: international perspectives'. Ján Figel’, European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Training and Youth is expected to open the event. It is also expected that some government ministers and officials will respond and set the scene for two-days of high level discussions.

Topics include:

  • Global school networking: international exchange
  • Ensuring equity and widespread e-skills and e-maturity
  • Evidence-based practice: tools and practices that work
  • Making mathematics, science and technology attractive
  • Open educational content in the Learning Resource Exchange
  • Emerging safety and responsible use issues in technology.
