At the California Science Teacher Association Conference, happening Oct 22-25, 2009, ISKME presents two workshops for science teachers in multi-disciplinary teaching and learning, focusing on the finding, creating, and sharing Open Educational Resources and engaging in peer-based learning.
In the session, "From STEM to STEAM: Incorporating the Arts into Science Learning", participants will explore how teachers are collaborating with open resources to engage
students in learning that incorporates science, technology,
engineering, art and math, focusing on sustainable design,
environmental science, and culture.
