KQED Education Network and ISKME present a dynamic training session tailored to K-12 Arts Educators' and Teaching Artists' needs.
Participants will gain:
- Tools to incorporate media related to the performing arts into curricula.
- Hands-on performing arts and multi-disciplinary approaches to teaching and learning using materials available for free online.
- Open access to lessons and other materials that support arts classrooms.
- Experience finding and sharing resources with others using online networking and digital media tools and methods.
- Practice in resource search and identification, and an introduction to licensing that makes content legal to adapt and share online.
- Continued
online support and networking through the "Open Educational Resources
(OER) Commons" web site and education program.

ABOUT KQED AND ISKME
KQED Education Network engages with community and educational organizations to broaden and deepen the impact of KQED media to effect positive change.
