ABOUT KQED
AND ISKME

KQED Education Network engages with community and educational organizations to broaden and deepen the impact of KQED media to effect positive change. Education Network reaches more than 200,000 Bay Area residents a year and partners with educational and community organizations, early childhood education programs, youth media programs, schools and school districts, colleges and universities, and the California Department of Education.

The Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education (www.iskme.org) is an independent, nonprofit research institute that conducts social science research in education, develops research-based innovations, and facilitates field building to improve knowledge sharing. ISKME’s training and professional development supports teachers and schools in effective uses of digital content and collaboration as part of a larger model for systemic change in education through knowledge sharing. Supported by the Ford Foundation, ISKME is building partnerships with leaders of teacher education centers, districts, schools, cultural and governmental organizations to support open, equitable, and high-quality arts participation in K-12 classrooms.
