At the California Science Teacher Association Conference, happening Oct 22-25, 2009, ISKME presents two workshops for science teachers in multi-disciplinary teaching and learning, focusing on the finding, creating, and sharing Open Educational Resources and engaging in peer-based learning.
In the interactive workshop, "The Pollen Project: Climate Change Investigative Science with Open Resources", in the Environmental Science track, teacher participants will explore the following area while learning curriculum and knowledge sharing processes:
"How can students access real pollen data to study global climate change? Learn how to find, modify, and create open educational resources to teach climate change investigative science.
