Speakers include:

  • Tom Alves, Executive Director, San Juan Teachers Association
  • Don Raczka, President, Poway Federation of Teachers

Contributing moderator:

  • Julia Koppich, President, J. Koppich & Associates

What is the role of unions in working to improve student achievement systemwide?

How can unions become more engaged in professional issues related to helping teachers improve teaching and learning?

What are some of the proactive ways that districts and unions can work together to avoid roadblocks?
