ISKME offers professional development for K-16 administrations and faculty to share:

  • Models and methodologies of knowledge-based decision making
  • Surveys of innovative knowledge management projects
  • Techniques for assessing information culture
  • Case studies of data and information management initiatives across sectors
  • Tools and technologies available to and used by schools, colleges, and universities for supporting knowledge sharing processes

ISKME also offers a workshop for faculty that focuses on the development and implementation of knowledge management practices that can be used to support faculty interests in teaching and research. The purpose of these workshops is to help faculty meet the challenges confronting them around issues such as: collaboration and research; curriculum design and instruction; and incentives and rewards.
