Educational think tank to tackle 'Big Ideas'

Early next week the Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, will be abuzz with new ideas for educators, in the second annual Big Ideas Fest.

Produced by the Princeton-based Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education, the Big Ideas Fest will host more than 175 educators, students, educational policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs, technology pioneers and leaders in nonprofit, for-profit and corporate enterprises from Sunday through Dec. 8.

Sponsored by the Bill and Melinda Gates, MetLife and GE foundations, Red Hat Inc. and Microsoft Research, it will be three days worth of collaboration and design of cutting-edge thinking in education from kindergarten through post-graduate levels.
