Judith Sebesta

Judith Sebesta, Ph.D., serves as Vice President, ISKME Labs, leading research, development, and innovation for ISKME. Prior to this position she was the Executive Director of the Digital Higher Education Consortium of Texas, where she managed a number of Open Education initiatives and research projects. She also served in a variety of roles at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, including as Project Director for Open Educational Resources, Director of Innovation, and Program Director for Distance Education. Judith serves as the President of the Executive Council for the Community College Consortium for OER and holds a certificate in open licensing from Creative Commons. Before shifting her career focus to the broader landscape of policy and practice in open education, innovation, and digital education, Judith enjoyed a fifteen-year career as a university professor and administrator. In her off time, she loves spending time with her dogs, watching films and series, making music, and gardening.
