Join Mindy Newfarmer during Open Ed Week on Tuesday, March 3rd at 10 a.m. PT, Vice President of Services at ISKME for an overview of OER Commons that will provide attendees with an overview of the OER Commons global digital library. We’ll walk through how to search, how to discover OER used around the world, ways to collaborate with other OER practitioners, and how to use Open Author to remix, create, and publish OER.
In this hour-long overview we’ll walk through the following:
-
- Using Search and search filters to find what you’re looking for on OER Commons
- Leveraging the work of ISKME librarians and ISKME partners by using Hubs and curated collections for discovery of high quality OER
- Creating and using Groups to collaborate around curation, evaluation, and training
- Creating, remixing, and publishing OER with Open Author
OER Commons is free for everyone, forever.
