DecorativeISKME is partnering with CAST’s Director of Disability and Accessibility, Luis Perez, to provide targeted learning on how OER can better incorporate accessibility best practices for adding and describing images, and utilizing styles in resource design. These advanced professional learning offerings will focus on  two important topics when designing resources for accessibility – OER Image Accessibility and OER Styles Accessibility.

Each series will consist of two 90 minute Zoom sessions of instruction and direct coaching from accessibility experts, engaging discussions and planning in breakout rooms, and practice to develop designing for accessibility skills. Participants may choose to focus on modifying their own OER or focus on how they might support others in designing OER for accessibility. Between each session, participants will engage in discussions and resource sharing in the OER Accessibility Series Groups on OER Commons.
